What can you drive with class B?

With this class you may drive motor vehicles, provided the gross vehicle weight does not exceed 3,500 kg and the vehicle is designed for no more than eight passengers in addition to the driver. Trailers are also allowed – either up to 750 kg, or heavier, as long as the entire vehicle combination does not exceed 3,500 kg.

How old do you have to be?
You must be at least 18 years old, or 17 if you are doing accompanied driving until the age of 18.
But of course you can still register earlier and start the training.

What can you ride with the moped license?

With the moped license you can ride motorized bicycles (mopeds) with up to 50 cc and a maximum speed of 25 km/h, light mopeds up to 30 cc with a 20 km/h maximum speed or electronic mobility aids with a 20 km/h maximum speed.

You must be at least 15 years old.

What can you drive with class A1?

With this driving license class you are allowed to ride motorcycles, including with sidecars, as long as they have an engine displacement of no more than 125 cc, engine power does not exceed 11 kW and the power to weight ratio is 0.1 kW per kilogram or less. You can also drive three-wheeled vehicles if they have more than 50 cc of engine capacity or can go faster than 45 km/h – as long as the power does not exceed 15 kW.

With this license class you can ride motorcycles with a maximum engine power of 35 kW. The motorcycle must not bring more than 0.2 kW per kg onto the road. Furthermore, it must not be derived from a significantly more powerful model.

With this license you allowed to ride motorcycles with an engine capacity of more than 50 cc or a maximum speed of over 45 km/h. Three-wheeled motor vehicles with a power of more than 15 kW are also permitted.

• 24 years for class A motorcycles upon first acquisition,
• 21 years for three-wheeled motor vehicles or
• 20 years for motorcycles if previously owned class A2 for at least two years.
